DMRL Cup Series
The DMRL Cup Series is the pinnicle of our tiered oval racing series. If you're here, you've proven to be able to handle yourself as a competent driver and sportsman. This will follow the real life NASCAR Cup Series as closely as we can, and with the rules package default to iRacing's software, this will be easier than ever for the DMRL to manage.(full description...)
Basic Format will be as follows:
Car: Chevrolet Impala
Setups: Fixed
Practice: 50 minutes
Qual: Lone, 2 laps
Race: ~40% real Cup distance
Restarts: Double File, Lapped in back
Cautions: On
Start: Rolling
Fast Tows: Unlimited
As the top of the ladder, this series will use mostly extra content, not default to the basic iRacing subscription. We won't be forcing any driver to spend outside their means, just to race, as that decision will be up to you, and you alone. We expect the best from all drivers in this series. We know accidents happen, but drivers in this division should know how to conduct themselves in an adult manner, both on and off the track. We strive for the cleanest possible racing we can accomplish, and this series should be the pinnicle of such.
Thank you for your interest in the DMRL Cup Series!

The DMRL Truck Series is our second level series, in a tiered series for oval drivers. This is designed to help drivers that have advanced from the DMRL Local Tour, and a stepping stone to the DMRL National Series.
Basic Format will be as follows:
Car: Chevrolet Silverado
Setups: Fixed
Practice: 50 minutes
Qual: Lone, 2 laps
Race: ~25% Cup Distance
Restarts: Double File, Lapped in back
Cautions: On
Start: Rolling
Fast Tows: Unlimited
By entering this division of DMRL racing, you've proven that you can handle a line on a track, can race cleanly (we all know accidents happen, it won't count against you unless it's a regular opccurance) with a low powered, front engined stock car. The trucks race on some of NASCAR's biggest venues, such as Daytona, Talladega, Bristol, and Charlotte, just to name a few. This means that you'll need to learn to handle faster speeds, and likely, more traffic.

Just remember, This series is geared to help develop new races, so over aggressiveness or abusiveness will not be tolorated. We all need to pitch in to be curtious to one another, especially in this DMRL division. Setups my be opened up down the road, once thigs are established, to help further everyone's ablility to diagnose and fix setup problems. We strongly encourage not using a setup made by someone outside the league, as this underminds the goal of opening up setups to learn about building one yourself. Advanced drivers should be open and willing to help the lesser experienced drivers in these matters.
The DMRL Local Tour does have some specific rules for custom paint schemes, and those rules can be found in both our forums and in our rule book.
